Originally I’m from the midwest and don’t know too much about the west coast with the exception of a couple brief visits and what I’ve heard from college classmates. Is it possible to succeed in the real estate business without having lived and experienced the market in a particular region? A loan goes into default but is backed by the home the money was loaned against. How are so many lenders going out of business when there is collateral? Sure it costs money to repo a home but I think there still has to be other issues at hand.
